How does nikah.io work?
- You see Nikah.io Ad on social media and click on the link which brings you to a WhatsApp message, and I receive your enquiry.
- I talk to you, explain the working of nikah.io, and share a link for you to create your profile.
- Upon clicking the link, a form opens, and you are required to fill it.
- After going through the information in your profile, I call you within a few days/weeks, in Sha Allah. I’ll confirm the information you have submitted and make your masked profile live on the website.
- Once I do, you can access the list of profiles I have on the website and request more information on other people’s profiles.
- If you and the person you have shown interest in are certain, I will put the two of you on a conference phone call.
- If both of you agree, I will share contact information the next day (allowing you time to think).
- Once you have the contact information, then most of you will say, “Who the f#ck is Samir/ what the f#ck is nikah.io?” (talking from experience). Waise bhi miya bhai kiske khaye piye khiske.

What is nikah.io?
This is one question that has been asked multiple times to me. It is high time that I put together a writeup for you to understand what nikah.io is, as I have explained how nikah.io works? Or better still, how I (Samir) make Nikah.io work.
Nikah.io is between a traditional matchmaker and a modern-day matrimony portal.
It gives you the comfort of a traditional matchmaker, wherein I am your one point of contact. I am accessible for calls, provided you are respectful and call during normal working hours and not like this a##hole who called me at 4:28 am in the morning.
Modern-day matrimony websites are large databases of profiles. The process is robotic, with zero or bare minimum human connection. Ask yourself how many times have you spoken to someone on a large matrimony website, except when they were selling/upselling you more packages.
The other downside of large websites is that anyone with an internet connection can make an account without ever being asked who they are, where they belong, or if they are pretending to be someone they are not.
Nikah.io difference
I add a personal touch to it. If you are a member, I most certainly have spoken to you on the phone. Until I speak to you on the phone, I will not put your profile on nikah.io.
I can’t say that profiles are verified, but I certainly block/prevent close to 20% of people who want to make an account on nikah.io, irrespective of the money they are offering. Consider the scenario where a person disguised as one of us is making an account to f#ck with your life, and the only thing the large websites are worried about is getting revenues in. Because your relationship manager has targets, and their boss is screwing them, and they are returning the favour to their user base.
